Aprillikuu tegija – Rohelise Kuu projektijuht Katerina / Stand Out member of April – Green Month project manager Katerina

Aprilli kuu tegijaks valiti Rohelise Kuu projektijuht Katerina Chantzi.

Mais saab üliõpilaskonna tublisid liikmeid kuu tegija tiitlile nomineerida 24. maini siin

The Standout Member of the Month in April is Katerina Chantzi, project manager of the Green Month. Katerina is a student of the Master’s degree program in Social Entrepreneurship, who has created her own social enterprise BinFree, that offers pickup recycling services for glass, plastic, metal drinking containers (deposit packages) and glass recyclables to households, restaurants, bars and companies to initiate a spillover of environmental actions through rewarding mechanisms, consultations, trainings, online courses and community events. Her passion for sustainable development is also reflected in what has been done at the university so far: last semester she participated in the cup-free ELU project and shared her personal sustainability goals on the university blog. In addition, she has organized several relevant events both in Estonia and in other countries.

In April, Katerina stood out with her exceptionally thorough preparations for the Green Month. She was 100% committed to the subject. During the Green Month, many different events took place online, in which Katerina involved experts in her field, being aware of each field herself.

We are very grateful to Katerina for the effort!

In addition to Katerina, Laura Paju (head of LTI ÜN), Siret Upan (head of the photo club), Kristen Aigro (head of the Student Union), Miikael Raun (head of Civitas) and Anna-Liis Uuetoa (speaker of the representative council) were nominated this month.

In May, active members of the Student Union can be nominated for the title of Standout Member of the Month until May 24 here.
